Fear-Free Needling for Comfort from Arthritis

This is Pip, a retired high level agility dog who has arthritis in his spine and toes. He’s a bit worried by vets but we’ve taken our time to build up a lovely trusting relationship and we now regularly treat him with acupuncture (ten needles for 20minutes which we were never sure we’d be able to achieve) and laser therapy and he responds SO well!

This has been especially important recently when routine bloods have shown an elevation in his liver enzymes. Investigations haven’t given a definitive reason why this is, but in the meantime this has had limited medications that this chap can have. Thankfully, we have kept him nicely comfortable with needles and the laser.

Pip is now strutting his stuff on the man trailing scene and he’s flipping fabulous at it! His air scenting is something to be seen!
